Follow prosthetic and orthotic clinicians in their everyday practice to dive deeper into the medical device and patient care fields. This position allows me to learn more about different medical conditions that affect people’s ability to function properly and how medical devices can be made to help return functionality.

Assisting kids by teaching them better ways to understand their schooling. This job allows me to practice building rapport with children and build trusting relationships which further helps with their learning.

This past summer I shadowed certified prosthetists and orthotists in their day-to-day practice, learning workplace applicable skills by providing assistance while seeing patients and discovering how to use many lab tools to make adjustments to devices.

Worked during the summers to supervise children and ensure their safety and well-being. During this, I provided care such as meals, first-aid, and entertainment. I further practiced conflict resolution in de-escalating heated situations.

Over the course of winter break my freshman year of college, I worked in a boutique warehouse fulfilling hundreds of online orders each day. This job required problem solving to locate missing items in orders and allowed me to work with other employees for efficiency and effectiveness in pulling orders.
