Serve as the senior AIG point of contact for an engaged portfolio of Major Accounts with significant in-force premiums. Drive the AIG value proposition and ensure that clients are aware of the array of products, services and solutions (enterprise-wide) available and enhance exposure to AIG. Develop plans to improve portfolio and account performance, enhance service and strengthen relationships with major account brokers.

Responsible for growth in Property, Casualty, and Financial Lines for the Corporate Accounts Middle Market business segment including companies up to $500 million in revenue. Drive business activities to achieve target account expansion activity for new business, while maintaining desired retention of inforce. Lead engagement in assigned stewardship accounts, problem resolution, and overall key broker relationships in the territory.

Develop risk management strategies to assist clients in reducing their total cost of risk in Property, Casualty and Cyber lines of business. Review and deliver customized analyses of client's loss profiles and identify risk reduction opportunities compared to peer benchmarks. Engage and deliver AIG or third party resources to implement risk reduction plans from end to end with targeted outcomes for cost savings or cost avoidance.

Lead strategic initiatives for AIG Consumer Insurance organization across multiple functional areas and lines of business. Current projects include leading teams in Group Retirement and Benefits Distribution, Actuarial Pricing, Strategy Development, Systems Development, and Management Reporting.

As the Assistant Director of Economic Development, I perform a variety of management and fiscal duties in support of the City of Sugar Land’s comprehensive economic development activities that include business retention & expansion, business recruitment, entrepreneurship & start-up business assistance, retail development, major departmental projects & initiatives, oversight and management of various public and other meetings (City Council, Type A & B Corporations, TIRZ #1 Board, etc.). I also provide back-up to the Director of Economic Development for all programs and departmental responsibilities. I frequently interact and work directly with all City departments, the City Council, City-appointed boards and commissions, the general public, statewide organizations/associations and various governmental agencies.

Responsible for implementation of Downtown Development and Marketing Plan and coordination of downtown interests in a unified manner. Participate in development of comprehensive plans and programs for utilization of land and physical facilities within the City’s jurisdiction, meeting with developers and individual business owners to market and promote the redevelopment of downtown.

Responsible for coordination of downtown interests in a unified manner along with Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Improvement Board, and other affiliated entities. Administered City Enterprise Zone program and other economic development policies aimed at growth and enhancement of the City’s quality of life.

Recalled for active duty military service upon Executive Order by President Bush to be an Individual Augmentee to the 53rd Infantry Brigade, Pinellas Park, Florida. Assigned to the Brigade Headquarters, Budget and Finance Section and served to assist the Afghan National Army in building Finance and Personnel Institutional Models in their efforts to build a volunteer army. Assigned to Controller position and managed 50 pay agents and central administration of over $2 million monthly in Department of State funds to pay for the salaries of over 16,000 Afghan National Army soldiers. Charged to initiate development of a new universal database system to enter, calculate, control and report pay for the Afghan National Army.

Managed U.S. Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration (EDA) public works program for the seven-county northwest Florida region. Coordinated with cities, counties and other grant recipients to update project statuses, schedule reimbursements, and develop new grant applications with potential applicants.

Recruited to provide financial and business development support to the Marketing Group. Responsible for maintenance of economic model to support investment decisions of the company. Assigned for special research projects to forecast demand and economic conditions in key geographic markets and to acquire market information through account managers. Assigned to team to evaluate merger and acquisition targets for the company.

Personnel Officer – Promoted to Captain and assigned as the Human Resource Manager for a unit of 420 soldiers. Managed office of ten personnel managers and coordinators who conducted daily operations affecting pay, awards, evaluation reports, medical dispositions, public affairs, protocol, and deployment statuses.Executive Officer – Promoted to First Lieutenant and assigned as Second in Command of a unit of 130 soldiers. Oversaw daily operational matters, training, directing and evaluating officers and non-commissioned officers, and maintaining the war-fighting capability of the organization.Intelligence Officer – Assigned Top Secret Clearance by the U.S. Government and responsible for advising the Battalion Commander on all security matters, as well as intelligence information from overseas combat contingencies.Platoon Leader – Served as Second Lieutenant and assigned as primary leader of a unit of 30 soldiers. Responsible for their health, welfare, training and deployment to field training for combat operations.
