About Kyler Dewildt

As a Purchasing Analyst at OC Tanner, I analyze and merchandise the backyard and garage category for OC Tanner’s product line. Other aspects of my role include placing purchase orders, managing inventory, and auditing sales and performance of SKUs through performance analysis of metrics. I have utilized scripting in VBA to expedite daily analyses to enhance my performance in this role by streamlining and organizing performance data associated with my role. Some of these metrics include margin, consumption, inventory turns, late purchase orders, low inventory levels, and discontinuations. Another aspect of my role is creating and adjusting MRP values for materials in OC Tanner’s SAP system. I have created certain VBA scripts to simplify and streamline certain processes within Microsoft Excel and SAP such as price adjustments and stock statuses. I also act as a liaison between OC Tanner and many different merchandise suppliers. This includes setting up meetings, working through order issues or adjustments, product transitions, and supply chain challenges. Finally, I engage and take part in six-month strategy deployment projects focused on process improvement, operational scalability, and/or margin improvement. In October 2022, I led a six-month strategy deployment project in automation improvement that streamlined certain processes and resulted in $350,000 in cost savings.
