My key responsibility is to develop and execute a global commodity strategy that supports the needs of the business units and product categories. I manage a pipeline of PPV/VAVE projects by conducting cross functional workshops throughout Videojet and the supply base. Develop and execute working capital turns improvement programs including payment terms extension, inventory. Support supply risk reduction and business continuity planning.

I led a team of nine supplier development engineers who were responsible for all castings and forgings suppliers within aerospace business. A key pillar of my role required my team to coordinated between design, production, and procurement stakeholders on direct or indirect material savings. I had accountability for the delivery and implementation of all Honeywell owned tooling projects at casting and forging suppliers. I also supported production operations and ensured production rates were being met by suppliers. My team and I also partnered very closely with souring on the identification and selection of new sources. In 3 months I was able to accomplish:• $120k of direct material savings realized during the first 90 days.• $1.2M of indirect savings identified and planned for 2nd half of 2020.• Project management of 88 capital investment projects worth over $44M.• Identification of 12 new suppliers for sourcing consideration.

I was a champion of cross-functional efforts within the supply base to recover past due supplier deliveries. I implemented standard work with internal and external stakeholders to improve on-time performance. I led Advance Product Quality Planning (APQP) cross-functional work on new global architecture projects. Developed APQP base knowledge within the platform team and ensured best practices were shared across platforms. I collected regional and global requirements for input to the planning cycle of product development process. I collaborated with subsystem engineers and product approval engineers to develop test plans and targets to ensure delivery of quality KPI’s. One of my key responsibilities was to align cross functional teams to identify and define paths to quality improvement targets and implement improvements. On new product introductions, I was responsible to ensuring the project met key quality requirements. I actively supported hardware and software design reviews, DFMEAs, and milestone reviews. I generated weekly and monthly reports for management review of service incidents (SIR) and first pass yield (FPY) within Whirlpool’s plants. When necessary, I drove appropriate countermeasures to reduce SIR and plant defects. • $6.6 Million saved through improvements to quality improvements through existing products.• Improvement of First Pass Yield (FPY) with supplier on premium touch display to 99% FPY.• Discovered and implementation of software (SW) improvement within 3 weeks.
