I cruised throughout St. Maarten, St. Barts, and Anguilla as first mate responsible for all deck fixtures and systems. During our time in the Caribbean, we entertained many guests and I was responsible for the outward appearance of the vessel, the tow and operation of the tender, and the anchoring and docking duties. Along with those responsibilities, I did whatever was needed to ensure that our guests safety and comfort.Back in Fort Lauderdale, I was in charge of the Renaissance while the captain ran the owner's other vessels in up-state New York. During this time, I directly supervised major maintenance and replacement projects working with various industry vendors as well as personally handling several hands-on projects.

I cruised throughout the Bahamas, Keys, and Cancun as a senior member of an eight-man crew responsible for the exterior of the ship and equipment as well as assisted to any and all projects.Living aboard Princess Sarah for 1 year, I was in charge of the vessel's safety and made sure all systems were running properly (AC, refrigeration, power, etc)I led the team under the captain to ensure that the crew knew their job and how to carry it out safely and professionally. Very familiar with the tender, I helped new deckhands understand the systems and made sure they were comfortable behind the wheel. I also assisted our engineer with projects and gained a basic knowledge of the boat's propulsion and support systems.
