Lead developer on Xerox Report Manager, an enterprise reporting platform based on SQL Server Reporting Services which integrates with the Xerox Global Services Line of Business applications. - Architected a scalable, high performance n-Tier web application using proven frameworks: Microsoft Enterprise Library, Composite Web Application Block (Model-View-Presenter). - Provided support for production system (1,200 users, 2 web servers, 5 report servers, ~10,000 reports/month). - Localized application and installers into 10 languages while supporting global date/time formats and time zones. - Utilized Test Driven Development strategy (TDD). Developed custom test framework and base harnesses to ease adoption within team. - Performed load testing and performance/memory profiling to identify application bottlenecks and redesigned high traffic pages, realizing speedups of 300-500%. - Integrated and extended 3rd party server control libraries including internal Xerox display widgets, Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services Report Viewer and ComponentArt Web.UI. - Wrote extensions for SQL Server Reporting Services to support custom security, additional delivery types (FTP, enhanced Email) and batched report rendering. - Developed automated Team Foundation Server build process including custom MSBuild tasks and targets supporting assembly versioning, localized resource file generation, database diff script generation, configurable unit testing and building of localized InstallShield MSI installer packages - Created secure web service proxy to expose SQL Server Reporting Services web service endpoints through the application in order to enable external report design surfaces (Report Builder 1.0/2.0, Visual Studio) - Wrote tool to convert legacy custom reports to standard SQL Server Reporting Services RDL files to provide backwards compatibility for existing customers.
