    Since the project began in Fall, 2015 I have been an integral part of this operation. I am the business side of the brand, as well as the analytical component and prime mover. - Using my professional background in social media, I oversee the creation of digital and social media. I have leveraged these skills to create a large national and international community around the the band. - As manager for the band, my daily responsibilities include: booking shows, scheduling tours, handling finances and payroll, managing contracts with musicians, negotiating deals with venues, and sync licensing for commercial and films. I am also the liaison between our record label, PR team, and booking agent. I also oversee the creation and sale of merchandise, the online store, and I produce the music videos.-Since Slow Corpse's inception, we have performed shows alongside bands such as The Decemberists, Fitz and the Tantrums, Paul Wall, TV Girl, Travis Porter, Y La Bamba, New Move, and many more. -Been voted by readers of the RVM as the best band in the Rogue Valley for 3 years running. They have also been voted as best local album for the Hound EP in 2015. -I personally negotiated a licensing deal with Sperry's Topsiders for use of a Slow Corpse song in a commercial. (See commercial below) I have also worked on sync deals with the North Face, and Mt. Ashland Ski Area. -Found, courted, and facilitated an indie rock label to sign the band for an album. It was a hard fought relationship of over a year of continual emailing, calling, networking, and just making things happen. The record label, Tender Loving Empire, released Slow Corpses debut album, Fables, in May of 2018. There has been a lot of hype around this album and it has gotten stunning reviews so far. - As of May 2018, Slow Corpse is a rising star in the indie rock scene in the Pacific Northwest. We have created a dedicated following and are heading out on a 5-state tour next month.

This was especially important to me in Ashland as a young person in a position of power. The vacancy rate in Ashland is at 1% and it is very difficult for students to find affordable places to live with landlords that will rent to them. I made a habit of prioritizing living spaces for like-minded groups of young people. For example, I ran an artist collective on the property I lived on. One of the other properties created a farm space with animals and gardens to produce their own food for "family style dinners" once a month. One of the properties housed touring musicians and hosted monthly house concerts and local bands. This dedication to community made the living spaces the most valuable real estate in the Ashland college market.

    - This project started after receiving a large grant for research and outreach about mental health programs on college campuses. For this position I created digital videos which raise awareness about recovery from substance abuse, suicide prevention, and opiate abuse in Jackson County.- The longest of these projects was a 30 minute documentary film, which I wrote, directed, and produced. This film examines local law enforcement, treatment centers, jails, and institutions, and how they deal with mental health treatment and addiction in the Rogue Valley. This community is a microcosm of the grave affects that addiction has on a national level. The purpsose of this film is to create awareness around these issues that are rarely examined on a local level and encourage a new generation of social workers, law makers, and criminal justice personnel to start treating addiction as a mental health disorder which can be treated. - After creating this film, I took it to a number of programs and conferences for screenings and panel discussions. - There was a lot of local press about this documentary and I was eventually invited to go to breakfast with Oregon's Congressman Greg Walden to educate him and his aides on the state of the opiate crisis in Oregon. - After speaking at many panels, a private donor who was inspired by my film gifted a large donation to the CORE program at Southern Oregon University.
