    I manage the engineering team and for all external and internal projects - examples include projects from the DOE/ARPA-e, PacifiCorp, Saipem, the USTAR Technology Acceleration Program, CLIMIT, and the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology. These projects are focused on advancing Cryogenic Carbon Capture as a platform for both flue gas treatment and natural gas treatment technologies, which achieves highly efficient carbon capture at half the cost and energy of competing technologies. I also manage the team and act as lead engineer for all current scale-up efforts for the CCC and other processes, including 30-100x and future scale-up efforts in part funded by the DOE and private entities. Lead proposal and business development for these projects.Additionally I lead development of multiple skid-scale test platform for the technology. This includes the development of novel systems and demonstrating these skids for multiple months with both simulated flue gas and at industrial sites and power plants. This development also includes novel unit ops for desublimation, separations, and experimental heat exchangers.

    Was project manager and lead engineer for the Compressed Flue Gas process test unit for Cryogenic Carbon Capture, an ARPA-e funded project. This process is being developed as the most efficient method for separating CO2 streams from large static sources, such as coal fired power plants. I've worked with this project from the initial contract phase through construction up to testing at a power plant. Development of this process included several innovations in cryogenic processes and separations.My other roles at SES include being lead research engineer for the solids and liquids separations systems for the processes. I also manage the intellectual property for the company, and developed the overall strategy for developing new IP. An additional key role has been working with a local university, Brigham Young University, and with our sub-contractors and partners, including GE and Air Liquide.

My role was in business and product development, during which I developed contacts and connections with universities, government agencies, and other startups in the cleantech field for the testing and distribution of our products.
