Please check out http://federalprisontips.comHow did I get there?I’m in my late 40’s, Hawaiian, Jewish, Gay, a successful and unsuccessful startup founder, entrepreneur and convicted felon who served nearly 8 years for securities and wire fraud after succumbing to the pitfalls of greed as my successful startup incubator, Round House, was growing and raising money. My career began as a teenager plagued by the radio bug. I joined Radio Ahhs the kids’ stations as local co-host to the Afternoon Air Force based in the DC Baltimore area. I spent the next 14 years in radio with stops in small, medium and major markets.After a radio stop in San Francisco I founded Thedroidguy.com, the first independent consumer facing Android sites in the world & one of the largest consumer facing mobile enthusiast brands across social media. He went on to start NIbletz, the voice of startups everywhere else focusing on startups outside traditional tech hubs. I exited from Nibletz in 2013. As thedroidguy.com I co-founded and hosted the Big Android BBQ in Austin Texas the Android Communities answer to Macworld. As Nibletz.com I created the “Everywhere Else” conference which was featured as a must attend by Forbes Magazine.I then became a regional champion for Startup America and speak nationwide about startups, tech, social media and Re-Entry. In 2012 I was also the Entrepreneur in Residence at the Auburn Research and Technology Foundation Business Incubator then segued to create venture capital fund “Round House 1” and a startup incubator outside of Auburn Alabama (Tim Cook went to Auburn). During that time we were raising funds and had been featured in some great press. I became greedy and committed securities and wire fraud. I spent 7 years in Federal Prison including FPC Montgomery, FCI Forrest City Low, and FCI Butner Low.I earned my paralegal certificate, BA in CJ and am still pursuing a JD.
