Gained the necessary amount of experience, expertise, and education to seek certification as a Warranted Lease Contracting Officer (LCO). After a board review I was selected, promoted, and given an Intermediate Warrant; which allows the officer to obligate the Government to leasing acquisitions up to the $10 Million threshold. This new role came with new responsibilities such as leading an acquisition project, managing a team, communicating with business partners/clients, performing market tours, negotiating legal contracts, and much more.

This role required skills in project management, an expertise in federal lease law, and the ability to assist the LCO in the acquisition of real property from all parts of the project life cycle. At this time I held one of the few COSTAR licenses that GSA owned and performed market surveys.

Maintained and expanded comprehensive knowledge of Surgical Technology and Sterilization to prepare and assist in traditional laparoscopic surgical procedures; specialized in Cesarean Sections. Trained and supervised over 10 personnel in surgical and sterilization procedures, at times managed the Operating Room system, and ensured surgeons and patients received resources they needed. Participated and helped organize team building exercises such as educational services, emergency drills, continuing education, and taught CPR classes.
