If you need customer support there is a new feature that connects you directly to a support agent who you can speak to, see and who can also see your mobile screen to help solve your problem faster. We wrote the iOS implementation for screen sharing, the voice call that takes place and displaying the agent video.

I joined Lola pre-launch and developed their initial iOS app.Lola connected users to a live travel agent over a text interface who could book hotel, flights and activities on your behalf. I worked closely with a great team of designers to implement custom designed views and animations for a specialized user experience that took place in almost entirely within a chat conversation.

I rewrote the Drizly app for iOS and the Drizly Driver app used by their delivery drivers. As the sole mobile developer I collaborated with the design team, marketing team and executives to deliver on a re-designed and re-branded Drizly app experience that was launched within months of joining the company.The Drizly iOS app shopping experience was a powerful combination of native technology combined with an API that could personalize every screen with relevant products. I also integrated the OpenX ad platform to allow sales and marketing teams to selling advertising directly into the app and to dynamically inject custom Drizly content to enhance the customer experience. Large beverage companies like Miller, Diageo and others ended up using this system to run advertisements and track the activity associated with them.

Built a software consultancy from scratch with my partner Matt Kent.We worked with venture backed founders to build their products from concept to launch.We worked with Douglas Merrill, the founder of ZestFinance, to work through initial wireframes, build a prototype and launch their initial product in 2010. Over the course of the following year we helped build out their machine learning platform and build out their team of engineers. They went on to raise over $260 million dollars and are still going strong today.After launching ZestFinance successfully we worked with Chuck Ganapathi to build his next startup. When we met Chuck he was an Entrepreneur in Residence at Accel Partners searching for his next idea. We brainstormed and prototyped several different ideas before landing a mobile sales app that would eventually become Tact. We built the initial version of Tact for iOS and the powerful server side services required to run it. The backend would sync, merge and de-duplicate contact data from Salesforce, MS Activesync and Gmail into one coherent data model that could be synced down in it's entirety for offline access on the users iPhone. Tact has gone on to raise $26.2 million dollars and you can get their app today in the app store or at Tact.ai.

Three days after graduating college I co-founded a startup called Pressflip. Our goal was to use machine learning technology to help consumers search the web. Our small team of 3 RIT graduates developed our own machine learning text classification technology using support vector machines.We applied our technology into a consumer product called Pressflip. Pressflip would allow users to define interests which were bootstrapped with a search query. Our service would then continue to search the web as new content was published and match relevant documents to user defined machine models. The end result was a system that could find actually relevant articles and content that the user would likely never have found on their own. Users could give feedback on what we found and the machine models would automatically adjust and improve.

Open source Eclipse-based Ruby on Rails IDE used by over 150,000 developers. Designed and developed source editors and other Eclipse plugins.Won the 2006 Best Open Source Eclipse-Based Developer Tool at Eclipse-con.Acquired by Aptana in 2007.

Designed, developed and tested components of Web and Eclipseplugins for the IBM Jazz platform managed by Erich Gamma.

Innovated an automated UI testing framework that would test IBMRational Application Developer and other IBM products.

Optimized the server-side runtime for IBM Java Server Faces that was shipped with Rational 6.0. Developed Java Server Faces sample Web applications for the Rational 6.0 release.
