Provided technical support for over 70 users in NRM (Nature Resouce Management) Project for USDA, Forest Service.Searched and found a solution for remotely setting up contractor's computer by modifying VPN settings, it resulted in saving contractor's trip and time (3 hours at least) from Herndon/Reston office to USDA, Forest Service Rosslyn/DC office for PC setup. This saved the client roughly $25,000 over a one year time period.Collected and disinfected used but in good condition headsets after government upgraded telephone to VoIP softphone for coworkers/contractors for seeing them to hold telephone handsets by hands or necks for long conference calls. This not only relieved colleagues' tight sore neck problems, but also saved client (USDA, Forest Service) over $4,000. Troubleshot Active Directory, VPN, network, Outlook and Lotus Notes email problems.Purchased, installed, and configured hardware, software and peripherals.Troubleshot projectors, monitors, printers, copiers, scanners, fax machine and other devices.Tracked and maintained IT equipment and software inventory.
