I was featured on News Central 34 which is a student run television news station on the campus of Central Michigan University, Monday and Wednesday nights during the hour long broadcast. I was responsible for cutting my own videos, making sure they in the right place. Made sure I had the correct graphics set up for each story. I was also responsible for writing my own scripts that I would deliver each time.

I am a sports photojournalist at FOX 17, mainly covering high school football in West Michigan. I've covered teams in Grand Rapids, all the way to Muskegon and Battle Creek some 100 miles away. I shoot games from the sidelines, drive back to the FOX 17 station, cut and edit my videos into 30 second highlights for the 10pm show called "FOX 17 Blitz" which is a show dedicated to West Michigan high school football highlights and analysis. I'm responsible for shooting the games, editing the footage and preparing the scripts for the anchors of the show each Friday during the high school football season.

I am a former intern in the FOX 17 Sports department. During my three months in Grand Rapids, I learned how to shoot video with Sony NX5's, edit in Final Cut Pro, and write scripts posted to the fox17online.com website. I helped with the daily routine of putting together a television news broadcast dealt with sports in the area. I covered sporting events such as West Michigan Whitecaps baseball, Grand Rapids Griffins hockey and even Floyd Mayweather boxing press conference.
