In January of 2024 I accepted a new position at Veeva as Director of Product focusing on Implementation Excellence. Implementation Excellence means... 1. Faster implementation of our applications 2. Less expensive implementation of our applications 3. More standard implementation of our applications (Aligned to industry and Veeva best practices)This can't be achieved in a vacuum. I'll be working closely with the platform and application product teams to deliver features that improve the delivery and migration of our products and I'll be working with services teams to streamline implementation methodology and understand pain points in product implementation.

In February of 2022 I transitioned into a new role as the Director of Product Management for the ePRO (electronic Patient Reported Outcomes) team which is part of our MyVeeva for Patients application. Patient Reported Outcomes are surveys completed by patients within a Clinical Trial to understand how a treatment is affecting their day-to-day lives. As the director of this team I have the opportunity to orchestrate the development of this product from the ground up with the help of a team of engineers, product managers and UX experts. I started my Senior Product Manager experience within our Vault Clinical Operations suite of products which offers the industry’s first and only suite of unified clinical operations applications. Specifically, I was the owner of our Vault CTMS application. I was responsible for the product direction of Vault CTMS as we supported faster clinical trials, better decision making and easier collaboration with doctors, vendors and sites. I also has the opportunity to design and deliver the Clinical team's first foray into artificial intelligence, the TMF Bot, whose goal is to make the repetitive work of document management an automated as possible. New Client New Product - During these projects, I as a consultant hold face-to-face requirements gathering workshops, configure Veeva's highly customizable Vault Platform, walk the client through computer systems validation, and finally train the client's end users who will be using the system after it goes live. 2. Current Client New Functionality - During these projects I am strategically placed in some of our largest clients who want to continue to grow the functionality of their system. My primary goal is to make the client successful and to suggest configurations or help implement configurations that would make them more successful. DePuy Synthes is the world's largest orthopedic corporation and is owned by Johnson & Johnson. Currently working in the Clinical Research Department as a Clinical Study Administrator. Hired duties include quality checking electronic and hard copy documentation for clinical studies to ensure they comply with FDA regulations and DePuy Synthes general standards. Also involved in updating the process to track documents from a manual process to a more automatic process.This position has allowed for growth in many other areas such as the cloud based content management system, Veeva Vault (V-TMF R&D) and also the clinical trial management system, Medidata CTMS. Duties in V-TMF involve creating studies/countries/sites, user management, filing study/country/site documentation, creating extensive in-depth training materials and training DePuy Synthes staff to use the system during in person and remote training sessions. Duties in Medidata CTMS involve gathering extensive study information, entering new studies/sites, creating monitoring schedules, creating payment schedules, setting up integration with Medidata Rave, creating training materials and training members across the Johnson & Johnson Medical Device sector to use the system.

DePuy Synthes is the world's largest orthopedic corporation and is owned by Johnson & Johnson. I worked in the Clinical Contracts Department. I helped create, print, compile, and send contracts to investigators (MD's, DO's, Radiologists, etc.) to do research for DePuy Synthes products, primarily its Joint Reconstruction products. Beyond this I also did general administrative work including printing, copying, filing, shipping, emails, spreadsheet updates, power points, etc. One change I headed up while in this position at DePuy Synthes was a turn to electronic filing. Previously, most filing was done through hard copies with folders full of paper copies of contracts. Now, with the use of scanning, all contracts are saved on a shared drive for anyone in our department to see and use. This is more secure, quicker to navigate, and easier to maintain.

I help develop and maintain four Sales Portals for the entire franchise. The site pages and content are maintained on a Sharepoint platform, however I develop and edit code using Dreamweaver. My job also entails tech support for these websites and also for DePuy Synthes' numerous other sites and directories. Our latest endeavor has been an application for the iPad. I have been with this company since this application's debut, and so I have had an integral part in its maturing and updating. I regularly post new updates to this application via an online database.

As the building supervisor I oversaw the general operations of the YMCA during times when the normal management staff were not present (early mornings, evenings, and weekends). This included building checks, member dispute resolution, monitoring member activities, and ensuring employees are present for their shifts.

My primary responsibilities were to learn the ins and outs of Moodle, which is a Learning Management System for Grace College and Theological Seminary. I then used my knowledge of Moodle to help the Professors of Grace College load everything they need for the online portion of their class. There were many other programs I used in the course of learning to use Moodle to the best of my ability. The first of these is Respondus, a Windows exam creation tool that is used to upload exams, tests, and quizzes to Learning Management Systems such as Moodle, Blackboard, and WebCT. The other system I used was ManageEngine, a management software for IT Departments.
