I had the pleasure of restructuring and leading the CAPEX construction team, made up of 9 individuals working across Western Canada, and responsible for capital projects, critical maintenance and assisting with preventative maintenance across 3 provinces. Some of my job responsibilities were building and presenting budgets, capital planning, working with external consultants (Engineers/Architects), capital reporting, bi-weekly CTC reporting and working with the Director of Capital Investments (Finance side) to build a live dashboard to monitor, construction accounting, analyzing operational workflow and implementing efficiencies, writing policies and procedures and working with different departments on alignment and execution (such as the SVPs on the Asset Management team), training and building training material, cleaning up AP/AR/IR (~28M cleaned up), working with various teams on implementing new policies to abide by new 28 day payment legislation, cash planning/forecasting and working with the executive team (CFO/COO) and my SVP for overall CAPEX planning and execution.

Responsible for day to day operations of a multi-million dollar business that I built from scratch (started with $20,000).Projects were focused in Commercial, Office, Retail and Medical. Our largest build was 28,000 sqft and largest demo was 50,000 sqft*Shut down due to COVID slowing the business down and having another child, partnered with the Senior Vice President at Avenue Living wanting me to come and restructure the Capital Construction Team

Same owner as previous employer @ Partner Staffing. Ran full cycle of projects up to $1.5 Million/each. Responsible for all aspects of business development and project management, including scheduling and estimating as well I also dealt with the CCDC Contracts and bid management. Managed an internal team of laborers, coordinators, sitesupers as well as sub-contractors. At times, leading teams of over 100 people through direct and Indirect management.
