Greater Boston Area - (Non Profit Work)
Boston GreenFest is entering its seventh year. It is the largest environmental music festival in the region and takes place at Boston City Hall Plaza in August (this year: Fri-Sun Aug. 15-17). Organized by the Foundation for a Green Future, Inc., Boston GreenFest 2014 provides a platform for sustainable education and celebration. The theme is Envision our Future: Businesses, government agencies, nonprofits, neighborhoods, families, schools, financial institutions, young and old, come together to share ideas, learn about each other's products and services and strengthen each other's capacity to make a difference. The festival will host four stages of live entertainment spanning five continents; more than 200 exhibitors, interactive forums, films, award ceremonies, eco-conscious cars and robots, an EcoKids area, EcoFashion, EcoArt, EcoFood Emporium, an EcoTerrace (21+) and themes that include water, energy, transportation, green cities, health & nutrition. It is a grassroots event that is embraced by the City of Boston and endorsed by the Mayor.
