- Spent 8 weeks in training on software engineering principles. (Version control, developing in large codebases, internal tools and language specific training) - Gained experience working on two large teams that heavily utilize Test Driven Development principles.(Ganeti / SRE) - Created automated scripts that dynamically manage ebtables filtering rules to prevent ARP spoofing attacks on clusters of virtual machines. Lead the deployment of these scripts onto the entire production cluster.(D Storage / SWE) - Designed and wrote a garbage collector for SMR hard drives. Managed a rollout of an updated block allocator onto production drives. The project is expected to save Google hundreds of millions of dollars over its lifetime.
