I lead by sitting next to my team members and devising a plan together that writes their best story.I want everyone to seek and find fulfillment in this life. If I've learned anything, someone that enjoys doing their job can be contagious but what's really contagious is the negativity. Thankfully, I've been able to capitalize on this throughout much of my working career. Although I didn't have literature around it until recently, I knew that leading others brought me a joy.     Upon my return to Foremost, I was gifted with the piloting of the New Account Specialist role and the opportunity to report to the Director of Inside Sales. Being an inventor, our Director was eager to get this plan into motion and success was important as I was one of two resources pulled from traditional portfolio management. However, having recent experience of creating and implementing processes and procedures with a start up company, I had experience to rely on.At a high level this role oversaw new accounts for 17 western states with goals of 85% quoting in 30 days and 65% producing in 90 days. Due to volume a methodical process was necessary to keep up with demands. Using resources such as SalesForce, email scripts, firm commitments, clear expectations of goals, and regular check ins; these goals were able to be achieved.The outcome resulted in the expansion from 2 resources to 5 in less than 12 months.

    As a Business Manager of West Michigan, my objective is to connect the commercial consumer with available utility rebates. This process is relatively easy. A site visit allows for our company to perform an energy audit. During this process we will review several items. For example: recent updates, current utility company(ies), resources for installation, budget restraints, and more. Often, we are able to recognize if the commercial property qualifies with one visit. Additionally, there are a variety of available rebates. This is great but often creates confusion for most business owners as they do not frequently work with the utility companies and energy products like EER does. There are lots of questions to be asked like; what brand products qualifies? Is this a quality product? Is it what I need? Which utility company do go through for this rebate? Where do I find the paperwork? How do I complete the paperwork? This is where EER comes in. Our energy audit will help us to understand what fits into your circumstances. Plus, we often complete the rebate paperwork on your behalf. Additionally, some circumstances even allow for complimentary products or at the very least, a short payback period. For example, most office lighting is less than a year to payback the minimal cost and has a running life of 50,000 to 100,000 hours. With in a handful of months you could be seeing that ROI for years to come. There is no cost in our free energy audit but there is certainly a cost if your business qualifies but does not take advantage of these rebate opportunities.
