Whether this includes representing small start-up clients, who are working through strategies to develop and maintain their IP portfolios to counseling large clients with regard to ongoing patent prosecution strategies, or representing branded and generic companies in ANDA and Biosimilar litigation. My background in life sciences, as well as my research experience lends me the necessary technical know-how to guide clients through these difficult issues. Represent plaintiffs and defendants in complex patent litigation cases involving pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, semiconductor and medical device patents in federal court and before the ITC.Handle many aspects of discovery including propounding and responding to document requests, interrogatories and subpoenas; prepared privilege log and a document production of over one million pages, leading to a favorable settlement for a biotechnology client.Draft and respond to complaints, prepare initial disclosures as well as preliminary infringement and non-infringement contentions. Manage discovery disputes, communicate with opposing counsel and negotiate discovery terms.Analyze patents, draft patent charts and participate in pre-litigation case strategies.
