About Kyle Schaefer

Graduate from The University of Toledo, earning my Bachelor's of Business Administration Honors (BBA) in Human Resource Management (HRM) and Organizational Leadership & Management (OLM) in December 2013. During my time at The University of Toledo, I was a member of the Honors College and Alpha Kappa Psi, The Professional Business Fraternity. I also worked as a Peer Career Assistant on campus for The University of Toledo College of Business and Innovation's Career Development I & II courses, working under the Associate Lecturer. In August 2014, I started the MBA program at The University of Toledo, with a concentration in Human Resource Management and graduated in December 2015. I started my HR career path in December 2011 as an HR Co-Op with General Electric in Bucyrus, OH. I then returned to the Toledo, OH area as an HR Intern with Tenneco in Monroe, MI for a year. I then worked part-time as an HR Coordinator with DB Schenker Inc. in Maumee, OH while I finished my undergraduate degree. I worked full-time as a Talent Acquisition Specialist with The Andersons Inc. in Maumee, OH, but then returned to Tenneco, working as an HR Generalist. While with Tenneco, I moved into a more specialized HRIS/Analytics role, serving as both an HR Specialist and HR Manager in that capacity. Currently, I am working at Owens Corning within our HR Center of Excellence on the Total Rewards Team, where I have held roles in both the Benefits and Compensation spaces.
