Sr. Engineer (L5) - Marketplace Matching

- Assist in development of next generation Taser weapon. Work focused on choosing high voltage capacitors to use in weapon- Write firmware and modify high voltage boards to test and characterize the performance of various capacitors

- Write software tools (predominantly in VBA) to help payload engineers do their job more efficiently and accurately

- Assist engineers with design of communication satellite payload (signal path between antennas) - Help channelize budgets (determine system parameters across various channels instead of only “typical case”)

BLOM (Berkeley Library for Optimization Modeling) Project- Design software that processes an intuitive block diagram model to export optimization variables to other controls software andsolvers (e.g. predictive control modeling software)- Allow for ease of model maintenance and design (models are block diagrams instead of code) such that the same model can beused both for optimization and for simulation- Author research paper to be presented at 2014 American Control Conference in June

-Design, write, and grade homework and exam solutions for Feedback Control Systems class

- Program robot to deliver important messages and “gifts” to co-workers via web interface- Path finding / Object Detection- Localization / Positioning

Facilitate guests with hands‐on laboratory activities - Explain exhibits to museum visitors while ensuring museum operations run smoothly
