Bring people on that share your values, contribute to culture, and steward the brand ◆ Building Leaders: Always look for the potential in others, coaching them to grow in leadership, practical skills, and critical thinking ◆ Partnership: Building bridges, working together, and bringing others along are paramount.My Leadership Philosophy>◆Strive for Simplicity◆Systems, processes, teams, and products are all enhanced when we value and strive toward the simple. Yet, it’s the simple version of all of these that is usually the hardest to achieve. Complexity kills. Simplicity inspires. There is a fundamental difference in one’s experience with excellence-driven consistent simplicity that places it in its own class. It has to be more than an idea; it is a core philosophy that drives excellence in all areas. ◆Movement Matters◆Progress is defined by movement. And movement is essential for solving the biggest problems and creating the greatest change. If something isn’t working, then kill it and try something else. But don’t stop. Keep going, moving towards the better. And movement only matters because people matter greatly. Serving people is paramount to the value of the movement. ◆Responsibility Over Reward◆When we feel a tremendous responsibility to do our best, working toward something that matters, the joy found in the work and the eventual outcome are the ultimate rewards. This is the redemptive quality of work itself.
