As a construction worker I was consistently learning new skills and applying them soon after in order to complete tasks efficiently and accurately . I also needed to be flexible in order to pause one task, help a coworker complete there’s, and return to the original task fluidly. Completing my tasks quickly and safely made sure that the job site was running smoothly and moving toward completion.

As a laborer I was expected to keep the job site moving by completing multiple tasks efficiently in succession of one another. By knowing what needed to be done next I was able to move from task to task to make sure no one was without their needed materials, or being held up because of something I had not completed.

Fort Collins, Colorado Area

As a rotating counselor I played multiple roles throughout the summer. As a counselor I was responsible for groups of youth from the ages of six to late teens. I was responsible for their well being as well as helping them to learn about God and enjoy their time at camp. Another position I rotated through was ranch hand. As a ranch hand I worked around the property helping fix up camp and make it presentable, as well as helping out any other staff when help was needed. Being resource staff was another position, this position required me to plan group games and make sure all counselors had what they needed.

As a strength and conditioning coach I worked with youth from the age of ten to early twenties, and adults helping them improve there skills and get/stay in shape. With the younger athletes making sure that proper form was being learned and everything was being done safely were top priorities. The older athletes required more motivation as well as specific training for different sports/activities. Coaching different weight lifting skills, and proper form is what I did most when working with adults.
