I have worked with clients to design, develop, and debug products for the medical, computing, consumer, and energy sectors. Among my key accomplishments are microcontroller and microprocessor applications, FPGA HDL development using Verilog, System Verilog and VHDL, algorithm development, and system/board verification. In addition to that, I have showcased proficiency in a variety of programming languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, and Python on various operating systems.

In my short time at Freescale, I collaborated with the software, marketing, and sales teams to create next-generation packaging and system architectures. Participating in design reviews, I helped identify gaps, problems, and provide suggestions for enhancements. Further, I led key business objectives by assessing the project needs of shareholders and external customers, collaborating with product owners, and achieving goals based on product roadmaps.

As a Senior Firmware Engineer, I designed embedded systems for large computing companies in Austin and Houston. This included both PCB schematic capture and layout as well as embedded firmware development. I was also involved in providing technical support to customers. Furthermore, I have spent a great deal of time designing and developing Windows® utilities, hardware platforms, and applications for capacitive touch, resistive touch, external sensing, and communication interfaces such as USB, I2C, SPI, Ethernet, and UART. My experience also includes developing with Atmel's ARM®, AVR and AVR32 microcontrollers. Moreover, I worked on the schematic capture and layout of COF (Chip on Flex) capacitive touch screen designs.

Luminary Micro was acquired by Texas Instruments in May of 2009During my time at the company, I was responsible for gathering requirements to determine the most suitable technical solution for customers. I developed embedded applications, Windows® applications, manufacturing acceptance tests, as well as performed technical support and training for the ARM® Cortex microcontroller line. I also had the opportunity to author a published white paper on "Integrating Web Servers in Embedded Applications".

As part of my responsibilities, I lead the technical and infrastructure development efforts for the Power Architecture® family of automotive microcontrollers, as well as managing the application development effort. This included the design and development of infrastructure for a tool company to validate its simulator, the development of a debugger and flash programmer, and the development of manufacturing acceptance tests. Moreover, I was also expected to perform a competitive analysis and ensure the usability of the product. It was among my most significant accomplishments to own the MPC5561 application efforts from requirements to validation and to write multiple application notes and engineering bulletins.
