DMD Candidate at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine Class of 2026.My interest in dentistry developed in high school when I completed the Associates in Periodontics Internship Program in the summer of 2018. This experience introduced me to various dental specialties, work as a dental assistant, and most importantly how to develop relationships with patients. Being introduced to the profession early enabled a focused direction throughout my undergraduate studies. I received my dental assisting license in 2019 and worked part-time at Worcester Periodontics. In 2022, I graduated from the College of the Holy Cross with a BA in Chemistry.During the summer of 2021, I worked on my first research project at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. The manuscript was published in the Journal of Dental Education "Using Psychometrics to Assess Curricular Changes for Integrated Nation Board Dental Examination Preparedness" 05 January 2022. http://doi.org/10.1002/jdd.12881. I am currently a student at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine (TUSDM) in the class of 2026. I serve as the class-elected Curriculum Committee Representative, active Student Research Fellow, and Periodontology Study Club Co-President. I am involved in a variety of research projects ranging from the etiology of interproximal bone loss, psycho-social influences on dental implants, dental, oral, and craniofacial 3D Bioprinting, and INBDE-dental school preparation. My interests reside in Periodontology and Regenerative Medicine.
