Main Responsibilities include: The overall daily running of a local Plumbing & Heating Company, providing high quality secretarial, organisational and administrative support by supplying general office provision with duties consisting of; Accounts/Bookkeeping, CIS Submission, VAT Submission, Email/Filing management, Customer Correspondence, Invoicing and Pricing.

1. Main responsibilities include: Providing a service for scientists to meet needs, deadlines & experiments targets.2. To perform the preparation of solutions and reagents competently following SOPs including media preparation, Bioassay/Petri Preparation; this including manual hand pouring as well as electronic systems.3. To ensure all glassware/plasticware are cleaned correctly following protocol and autoclaved to enable safe/sterile environments for scientists needs.4. Aliquoting of reagents whilst ensuring maximum care and precision is undertaken, specific experience within Tissue Culture aliquots and Amino Acids.5. Stock monitoring/Ordering system to ensure all equipment including solutions and reagents are maintained.6. Involvement within the training of new staff internally.7. Experience within Histology; including the multistep process of fixation, sample selection, tissue processing, embedding, sectioning and staining.

1. To perform the inspection and testing of raw materials, work-in-progress and finished products.2. To monitor and audit the activities of production and to ensure compliance with the specified quality requirements and procedure.3. To analyse production output by interpreting data.4. Main responsibilities include; sampling and testing of product intake to finished product, according to the testing schedule and test methods. (HACCP). Calibration of all equipment, stock checking and ordering chemicals for use in the laboratory. 5. Working co-operatively with QC department and managing work priorities on daily basis to ensure the production meets deadline.6. Able to work within the chemical side of testing, good use of HPLC. 7. Involvement within the training of new staff internally.8. Testing of raw materials by using wet chemistry, e.g. determine moisture of products by IR method, Free Fatty Acid and Peroxide Value.
