Events were designed to include many sectors of the community including, children and students, businesses, startups, iwi, researchers, seniors and the general public. Dunedin Techweek'18 included over 2300 attendees at 46 individual events across the city, and included:- 6 international speakers-28 national speakers- 52 local speakers at 24 venues around the city- Over 50 local tech and associated businesses were involved. From Pete Hodgson, Chair of Callaghan Innovation, to primary school students designing games or trouble shooting apps, to amazing local businesses getting together to share ideas and experiences with each other, it was a fabulous week of conversation, discovery and collaboration, and the start of Techweek as a funded city event for Dunedin, as part of the national Techweek calender.
