Main responsibility is to oversee all event details from start to finish for the Pure Michigan Governor's Conference on Tourism. Assisted in the growth of the conference with record attendance reaching 930+ people. Since 2012 to the present 2014 conference, conference revenue has continued to grow from year to year as well as attendence. Generated all marketing pieces for statewide tourism conference. Contracted and kept close communication with all conference speakers. Designed tradeshow layout and was responsible for organizing and detailing 50+ tradeshow booths. Maintained and managed over 1,000 + conference registrations. Key point of contact for hotel convention services. Detailed event with hotel staff and was responsible for pre and post con meetings with the hotel.Save the Date! Managed and coordinated all business related meetings and events booked through sales. Included both guest room blocks and meeting only groups. Responsible for group resumes and banquet event orders. Was required to complete weekly sales calls to assist with the sales department. Direct point of contact for all group business with the event contact and hotel staff.

Detailed all banquet event orders and made sure communication was open between all hotel departments from group arrival to in-house meetings. Worked this position for ten months until I was promoted as a Convention Services Manger.
