Our team was there to analyze and correct past deficiencies with process and procedures. I was able to help SOP for monthly closing with 14 days after month end. Prior closes were often up to 90 days. I was able to establish a better invoicing system that allowed for better documentation and easier processing. I was part of the Spirit Committee Leadership team that help promote an inclusive and fun environment.

• Process Accounts Receivables/Payables• Reconcile Credit Cards and Bank accounts• Prepare Payroll and Payroll taxes• Manage New Employee paperwork• Work with CPA to prepare end of year tax statements• File 940/941/Sales Tax/Worker’s Compensation payments and reports• Assess and Consult on workplace practices and policies

• Prepares all incoming donations• Processes/Reconciles all generated earned revenue• Reconciles incoming credit card payments• Reviews semi-monthly payroll• Makes monthly/quarterly allocations• Prepares audit material• Prepares 940/941

• Administers semi-monthly administrative payroll and monthly faculty payroll and maintains related payroll files• Prepares all reports and related payments in compliance with State, Federal and other regulatory organizations• Inputs records and communications for personal leave pay, status changes, performance reviews into the payroll system • Processes all A/P invoices and prepares checks to pay all bills in a timely manner• Reconciles receipts to the monthly credit card statements • Processes financial aid and other student-related payments in accordance with financial aid programs• Sends monthly statements of Federal Direct Loan Account to loan servicing company (FAME) for reconciliation• Processes financial correspondence, including financial aid service company, Veteran's Administration, Texas Rehabilitation Commission, etc., as directed by VP of Operations & Development and in coordination with Financial Aid Director• Oversees the collection, completion, and retention of contracts• Maintains and updates the fixed asset depreciation and amortization schedules
