Plan, manage and co-ordinate all design related activities for the Hoyts client account including New cinemas, refurbishments, kiosks, and upgrades. Account management, fee proposals, design direction, establishing and maintaining drawing standards across the Hoyts account and ensuring all issued drawings comply with AS/BCA.Management of internal and external design resources, clients, stakeholders, liaison with relevant project and site teams and consultants and engineers.

Key responsibilities:- Plan, manage and co-ordinate all design related activities for the Optus client account including Experiential stores, new stores, refurbishments, kiosks, and signage upgrades. 65 stores (various configurations) over an 11 month period.- Management of internal and external design resources, clients, stakeholders, Retail Design Managers/Landlords, liaison with relevant project and site teams and consultants and engineers.- Account management, design direction, - Establishing and maintaining drawing standards across the Optus account and ensuring all issued drawings comply with AS/BCA. Responsibilities include:Management of;- Concept to completion design deliverables for ~120 store/yr National retail rollout- 15+ designers located in Melbourne, Sydney, Shanghai and remote design contractors- Documentation deliverables, change management and implementation- Design Approvals – Client, Local and National Retail Design Managers, Centre, Landlord, Property Managers, Statutory, Engineering- Work collaboratively and build and maintain ongoing relationships with all key client and internal project stakeholders on all aspects of the rollout program and scheduling including Design, Project Management, Store Delivery teams, Logistics, Local and Off-shore Manufacturing and Procurement, Finance - Monitor, track and report on progress of project deliverables, design team efficiencies and performance against program targets to key project stakeholders to ensure achievement of final trade date and excellence in fit-out execution- Co-ordination and management of RFI’sProgram Consistency and Improvement;- Provide leadership on design related issues, store planning and technical knowledge to design and build at key stages of the project- Develop, communicate and maintain consistency of the clients brand representation across all aspects of the rollout program including fixture and store design, documentation, communications and store fit-out- Continuous improvement of design and fitout standards and implementation to ensure store delivery is meeting client and internal company business targets- Identify, develop, manage and implement opportunities for program and cost improvement initiatives across all aspects of the project (internal and client driven)- Ensure the presentation and functional qualities of all stores in the roll-out program are of the highest possible standards
