What is my motivation?The drive to help others who are less fortunate and determination to never give up defines who I am. From the beginning, I never set out to make a name for myself, but I’ve always wanted to make a positive impact on the world. I want to help people, ensure they have access to a home, warmth, food, clothes and medical care. My career goal is to work in hospitality and develop and manage a non-profit organization.What is my education?I am currently attending the University of Wyoming and will earn my Bachelors of Art in Communication. In May of 2015, I graduated from Eastern Wyoming College with honors. For the past two years, my focus has been completing my general education requirements which has allowed me to build a strong foundation. This year, I began to focus on communication and marketing courses including: business and profession communication, public speaking, human communication theory and intro to marketing. My education has given me a basis to work from and apply acquired skills to professional work. What is my work experience? I have had the opportunity to fill a variety of positions: AmeriCorps Test Pilot Intern, Eastern Wyoming College (EWC) Resident and Faculty Assistant, EWC Housing Council President and Student Senate Representative, and Laramie Rivers Conservation District Summer Help. I am a hard-working individual with a positive attitude. I have learned several skills that can be incorporated into multiple situations: customer satisfaction, graphic design, painting, gardening, restocking supplies, copying and collating materials, scheduling and creating itineraries, coordinating volunteers, and teaching summer camps. The world is vast and I am willing to learning new skills to benefit a company. I am able to communicate to all generations and a wide array of socioeconomic backgrounds.
