My primary objective was to foster student involvement in the McMaster community, and I achieved this goal by pioneering innovative events such as "Closet Clear Outs."The hallmark of these events was a unique approach to philanthropy, where student faculty representatives were encouraged to contribute by participating in closet clear outs. These activities not only decluttered their wardrobes but also served a larger purpose. Collected clothes were made available to students through a "pay what you can" donation system, promoting a sense of inclusivity and community support.
