About Külle Tärnov
Manager with over 20 years of experience: general, supervisory, middle level, development, IT team, cluster/community and large international project.I have the honor to be able to contribute in two ways to make our world a little bit better place: accelerating new research intensive solutions developed by researchers that will get implemented in real cities around the world and share my knowledge, readings and experiences in management and leadership at Tallinn University and TalTech educating the next generation of managers. I was active as the COO of Ektaco for two years and 6+ years in their supervisory board. Ektaco is developing systems for its clients' workflow optimization: point of sale system and a work time management system. I led the implementation of agile software development (scrumban), design thinking methodologies in product development and cross-team cooperation for common goals. My responsibilities were product development & software development processes, personnel and marketing. Ektaco is an IT company with 30+ years of experience, an international team of 40 people and sales on 5 different markets.I did spend 11+ years at Tallinn Science Park Tehopol leading its business development unit and Estonian Connected Health Cluster. The latter was also initiated and launched by me. I was also coaching health startups at Tehnopol Startup Incubator and facilitating entry to new markets for Tehnopol technology based companies, initiating and managing large EU projects in the domain of technology entrepreneurship. Prior to that I was effectively leading a study department at the Estonian Business School and several large international projects. In 1998 I have initiated, developed and implemented EBS four study programs in e-learning format.My passion is education and I am taking part in Estonian education community to speed up the quality jump to the 21st century, from teaching to learning, from data transfer to motivated development. https://www.facebook.com/homnekool/
