I have extensive experience working in disability, mental health, aged care and out-of-home care services across the metropolitan area to regional areas as far as Broome. As a highly skilled strategist with more than 30 years’ experience in the human services, allied health and the community sector from pediatrics and across the developmental life span. I also has lived experience as a parent of a young person with disability and this has driven my passion to support others with a depth of understanding and experience. I started volunteering in disability support when I was 13 years old. I am revered for my ability to collaborate and partner in a truly authentic way and am a prominent and reliable voice for people with disability to receive high quality therapeutic supports and services. I am also committed to establishing culturally embedded, holistic person-centered supports for Aboriginal and Torres Strait islander services to support First Nations People in collaboration with First Nations People with cultural authority and Elders. I work in this field as it’s my genuine passion, there is no greater joy than to do what truly innately makes you happy.
