This entrepreneurial journey began over 25 years ago. And for the last 14 of those years I've been dedicated solely to the world of business as a force for good and social impact business. In 2016, Conscious Capitalism came onto my horizon, sparking the passion to launch the Portland Chapter in 2017 where I served as Co-Founder and Co-Chair. Over these many years, I've dedicated my expansive knowledge and skills around creating mindset and behavior transformations to coach executives, leaders, and small business owners who want to make a difference in the world. I've taken my passion into enterprises to navigate and support transformational change, And even deeper still, my Master's thesis and current doctoral research centers directly on social entrepreneurs. Now, we're building Genius Goals, LLC. an online Hub where mission-driven small business leaders can go to get tools, support, and community they need. These heart-centered, purpose-driven leaders are the backbone of the conscious business and for-profit social impact movement. Our mission is to help them thrive with financial and all forms of wealth in their Triple Bottom Line businesses.My doctoral research is on the experiences and perspectives of social entrepreneurs from the lens of vertical development. My intention is that this vital research helps inspire and enable more leaders to take up the torch of business as a force for good. As I near the end of my PhD journey, I'm excited to see how this contribution helps to shape and inform business now and in the future.As you can see from my profile, I have built my professional expertise across numerous domains. The heart of my work has always centered on guiding human development and organizational success through training, coaching, and growing purpose-driven businesses. As I look back over the list of my professional roles and where I am currently, I'm excited about what's ahead. Each experience along the way positioned me perfectly for my current work. My immersive work in personal growth, psychology, 15+ years as a hypnotherapist, 25+ years providing adult education and training, and now 14+ years as a executive coach empower me to help leaders transform their behaviors into timely and purposeful actions. And my education, a BA in I/O Psychology, MS in psychology, and current near completion of my PhD in social psychology, reinforces the evidence-based foundation from which our programs are created.
