Did you know that on average we spend 938 Weeks, 3 Days, 23 Hours, 59 Minutes and 59 Seconds in ‘formal education’ (preschool to undergraduate)?An experienced educator working in a private international school and also experience working in inner city schools in London. Consistent assessments of my teaching practice have been highly ‘developed’ and the overall grade for my QTS was “good with outstanding features”. My teaching philosophy is embedded in my belief, to create students who are not only educated academically but also possess relevant life skills and experience, that will contribute to them becoming well-rounded individuals, within their local communities and globally.I consider myself, internationally minded, which I am able to foster through my teaching of the IB Curriculum. Furthermore, my passion for travelling and learning new cultures was one of the many factors that encouraged me to relocate to the United Arab Emirates in 2017. I have set myself a goal to learn Arabic by May 2024! I am a passionate and active advocate for wellbeing and mental health, which I regularly promote through various social media platforms, articles/blogs and any ear that will lend me some time! I truly believe that you CANNOT pour from an empty cup! When not in the classroom, teaching Dr Maya Angelou, ‘I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings’ you will find me supporting individuals and empowering them to fulfil their potential, with confidence. This includes providing 1-1 and group tuition, CV/Cover letter writing, Virtual Assistant services and Social Media Management and Marketing.
