• Assisted the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) team in a Title I school, in achieving 100% compliance with IEP completion, including assessments, re-assessments, and annual reviews including data analysis and goal updating, through collaboration for the 1st quarter of the 2023-2024 school year• Oversee, monitor, and analyze caseload outcomes to strive for improvement, goal attainment, and increased achievement of caseload in collaboration with Individualized Education Plan (IEP) team in 5 buildings across the county• Direct and evaluate implementation of occupational therapy based techniques by clinical staff, including school psychologists, speech language pathologists, physical therapists, administrators, special educators, and aides• Assist in supervising a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)• Supervised and instructed a COTA student intern

• Completed the onboarding process midyear and began providing services the same week developing relationships with teachers resulting in classwide interventions that resulted in improved legibility for the student receiving direct services in addition to the 4th grade class at large• Collaborated with special education teachers, related service providers, school psychologist, school social worker, and classroom teachers to assess, reassess, monitor IEP progress, create and implement IEP goals, provided individualized interventions inside and outside of the classroom to facilitate achievement of IEP goals in an elementary and middle school

Lois T. Murray Elementary and Middle School, Public Separate Day Program•Assessment, Re-assessment, IEP progress monitoring, creation and implementation of IEP goals in a public separate day elementary and middle school, including participating in the development of IPEs and IEP meetings to determine the least restrictive environment for students transitioning into the public separate day program as well as transitioning from the public separate day program to private separate day programs. • Collaborated with special education teachers, related service providers, and families during virtual instruction to provide successful interventions for students with significant disabilities that translated into measurable progress virtually and improved student performance upon the return to in person learning • Instructed teachers, para educators, therapeutic behavior aides, and other school staff in appropriate interventions for complex students including recommendations for sensory modulation techniques to improve self regulation in students to reduce combative behaviors for students living with autism •Collaborated to plan, create original material, and implement co-treatment cooking groups with Speech and Language Pathologists (SLP) for students with complex educational needs including the use of low tech and high tech Augmentative and Adaptive Communication (AAC) Devices.•Collaborated with SLP to plan and implement a weekly social skills group for speaking and non-speaking middle school students living with Autism resulting in increased social interactions with classmates and school staff within the group and generalized throughout the school. • Developed and implemented a Response to Intervention Plan (RTI) to address concerns in the school cafeteria regarding behaviors and self feeding

Fox Rehabilitation: PA North 2 & MD North 1, July 11, 2016 – May 13, 2019• Responsibilities include evaluation and treatment of the geriatric population in homes, Adult Day Centers, and Assisted Living Facilities for Personal Care and Memory Care in order to prevent decline in order to maintain wellness, and to return patients to their prior level of function with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs)• Collaborate with Physical Therapists, Speech Language Pathologists, Registered Nurses, Medication Technicians, and Aides for optimal functional outcomes• Provide caregiver training on proper body mechanics for patients and caregivers to increase safety during activities of daily living• Deliver caregiver training on use of Positive Physical Approach (PPA) improving communication with individuals living with dementia during functional tasks• Perform caregiver training on implementation of sensory modulation strategies to successfully reduce patient agitation and combative behaviors in older adults living with advance stage dementia• Collaborate with other Occupational Therapists for provision of support during the education and supervision of Level I and II fieldwork students as needed• Facilitate shadowing experiences for students of other disciplines
