As an intern, I was a part of the rotational tax team, which allowed me hands-on experience with payroll tax, income tax, and sales and use tax. At the end of my internship, I was tasked with creating a final deliverable for new hires and contractors.

• Create client profiles using Theranest Software.• Invoice clients for accounts receivables. • Gather fee schedules from insurance companies. • Maintain software databases and updated client information • Greet clients, communicate regarding appointments, and verify insurance.

Must be certified at an advanced level through the IRS Link & Learn website; interviewed taxpayers using the IRS Intake/Interview & Quality Review Sheet; prepared only returns that are within my certification level(s) and within the scope of the program; provided high-quality tax return preparation to taxpayers who qualify for VITA assistance; entered tax information into the TaxSlayer software; obtained signatures for E-File authorization; answered questions and/or used available resources to assist taxpayers; adhered to Quality Site Requirements and Volunteers Standards of Conduct at all times, and maintained taxpayer privacy and confidentiality standards.
