This internship experience was through the former Cornerstone Leadership Business & High School's Cornerstone Career Pathways Program. 10th-12th grade students had the opportunity to intern at different business corporations throughout the Detroit and Metro Detroit area once a week to gain professional experience. - Rotated and shadowed through different departments, such as human resources, account receivables, finance, supplier logistics and purchasing.- Conducted administrative work such as filing, updating tax information, organizing files and sending invoices via email. - Handled digital accounts and tracking materials within the logistics department. - Filed customer remittances into customer folders from account receivables department.
