Generating, coordinating and approving check requests for approved grant budgets4. Providing guidance and solutions for financial or procedural issues that arose5. Leading three major evaluation projects which involved (a) designing and administering a KKGU partnership survey to assess partners’ satisfaction and to identify key strengths and challenges related to the partnership; (b) designing and administering focus groups with KKGU students in each of the seven program regions to understand students’ awareness of the program, attitudes related to college readiness and preparation and perceived influence of program in educational plans; and (c) designing and implementing a survey to examine former KKGU students’ perceptions of what aspects of the program influenced their college success and retention 2. Managing and coordinating data collection activities at seven program sites across the state of Kansas3. Maintaining regular project-related communication with the executive director and the seven regional directors 4. Analyzing qualitative and quantitative data using tools (e.g., SPSS)5. Meeting regularly with organizational leadership to interpret statistical analyses and findings6. Preparing evaluation reports which were distributed to organizational leadership, regional directors, key funders (U.S. Department of Education) and partnering schools and organizations.
