Marketing manager of a Calgary-based home cleaning company, Home Spritz. My predominant roles included marketing manager and customer service. Additionally, I assisted my team in sales, web development and design. My temporary role in customer service included handling all communication between the cleaners, staff and clients. This included resolving issues, creating invoices and collecting payments, quoting, attending networking events, scheduling all bookings, paying out cleaners, and hiring, training and managing all cleaners.

Employed at Bucha Brew as a retail merchandiser and demo coordinator. I was responsible for recruiting and hiring brand ambassadors for Bucha Brew to work as independent contractors of the company, as well as coordinating their work schedules. This task includes: holding interviews, training and managing the contractors. Additionally, I visited over 50 of our accounts within and outside of Calgary weekly/bi-weekly to create and maintain business relationships with store managers. During my visits, I merchandise Bucha Brew products and ensure there is always inventory in each location by placing orders with the account contacts. Apart from my predominant responsibilities, I carried out projects such as researching and applying for markets and shows to build brand awareness, aiding in the creation of an influencer marketing campaign, and creating POS and signage on Photoshop for branding purposes.

Held a Tea Guide position during my 2-year employment at DAVIDsTEA. This role included responsibilities including, but not limited to:- Assisting customers on the sales floor and behind the counter- Responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of customer traffic- Educating customers on the merchandise- Pushing product and tea sales using up-selling methods - Helping customers select and package up loose tea - Making to-go tea beveragesAfter I gained adequate experience with DAVIDsTEA, I was given additional responsibilties to the ones listed above such as: Providing training for new employees; filling out shift reports on store sales and demographics during given time periods; working LOD ("Leader on Duty") shifts which qualified me to assign specific tasks and stations to employees on shift. All of these combined responsibilities helped me to acquire leadership skills, customer service experience, persuasion/up-selling techniques and experience in a team setting. These transferrable skills continue to assist me in my school projects and work opportunities as a grow professionally.
