As VP Public Relations, I am responsible for producing and organizing the output of blogs and podcasts. I communicate with researchers and neurobiologists in a professional manner to schedule meeting times, and prepare questions for one-on-one interviews. Additionally, I oversee the editing of podcasts and analyze research papers in order to write scientific blog posts regarding current topics in brain cancer research.

I performed field and laboratory research in support of tree fruit breeding and chemical thinning. I completed laboratory analysis of fruit quality as well as field data collection for various research trials. I worked with with research technicians, professors, government researchers, and graduate students, in addition to independently, to ensure accurate and efficient data collection and interpretation. Assisting in this research allowed me to cultivate essential skills such as data entry, problem solving, and attention to detail.

Throughout my time at Crystal Lake, I provided training, support, and guidance to students learning acrobatics and aerial arts. I ensured the safety and inspection of all required equipment while coordinating a team of acrobats and aerialists. I collaborated to choreograph and direct routines, maintaining total preparedness and efficiency during recitals.

While working at the curtesy desk, I provided standout customer service while handling customer phone calls, returns, inquiries, and complaints. I was in charge of operating and maintaining an advanced point-of-sale (POS) system for logging refunds and invoices. I ensured the operational effectiveness of the Western Union money transfer service, verifying that all client data was correctly inputted and up-to-date while maintaining fraud prevention tactics. I efficiently and independently remedied all issues that arose with customer returns, Western Union money transfers, and defective merchandise.

As a cashier, I effectively operated a point of sale system and maintained a balanced cash drawer while accounting for invoices, cheques, and rebate claims. I assisted customers paying for merchandise and ensured additional consumer requests were fulfilled. I promoted and applied customers to the Walmart Rewards Mastercard program, ensuring accuracy and integrity while handling their personal information. I was also responsible for training new cashiers and self-checkout attendants during my tenure.

While completing a co-op with MyHealth Centre, I was responsible for conducting patient interviews and other administrative tasks in the lab. I meticulously completed edits on myocardial perfusion images and exported them for further analysis. I acquired insights into the medical field by shadowing medical professionals and technicians during nuclear imaging gamma scans. I was also tasked with accurately entering data and scanning documents into a medical database.

While working at Circus in the Trees, I coordinated and organized several groups of students aged 2-14, and ensured the health and safety of all participants while operating specialty equipment. I collaborated with other instructors to organize recitals and was responsible for planning and choreographing routines/performances. I was responsible for skill development, positive reinforcement, and establishing athlete growth strategies.

As a member of the Legislative Page Program, I attended to the various needs of Members of Provincial Parliament (MPPs) and transferred legal documents between legislative buildings. Throughout my tenure as a Page, I acquired a detailed knowledge of legislative operations. I efficiently assisted Members of Provincial Parliament and executives within the Legislative Chamber in a professional manner.
