Kyra Leyi Cheung is a pre-law student at Rice University studying neuroscience and cognitive science, with a minor in politics, law and social thought. Kyra is passionate about OCD research, advocacy, and education. She is a research assistant at The Storch Lab - Baylor College of Medicine, is actively involved in the IOCDF, and is the founder/president of CommonGround, an organization that provides support for individuals with OCD and related disorders. At Rice, she is a member of Rice University Mock Trial (RUMT), the Rice Neuroscience Society (RNS), and the McMurtry East Asian Affinity Group, which she co-founded.
