Working as Functions & Events Coordinator for one of the leading businesses in the North East. The County Hotel is a stunning Grade II listed Victorian Hotel in the heart of Newcastle's City Centre.

FUNCTIONS & EVENTS CO-ORDINATORWorking in a fast pace role, I am responsible for all new booking enquiries as well as collating new leads and meeting with clients on a daily basis. Creating and maintaining function and marketing reports for the Ops Manager on a weekly basis. I use my own initiative to create marketing strategies to boost trade and profit within the venue as well as overseeing social media and marketing material.I have also created my own events such as Battle of the Businesses, Psychic Supper, Ladies Night and Glory Days which run regularly.MANAGING THE CHRISTMAS TEAMI am in charge of overseeing the Christmas Department which includes maximising sales, taking bookings, advertising the venue both on social in house and other outlets, creating new clients, and preparing reports for the Directors. I manage a team of 2 other co-ordinators including preparing rotas, tasks and ensuring everything is done to the best of their ability and to a high standard. CORPORATE SCHEME Meeting with some of the biggest companies in the North East to discuss our Corporate Scheme and with over 11 year’s customer service skills, I thrive at business meetings. I am in charge of working with companies to create the best offers possible for their colleagues.
