Athletic Academic Advisor
CurrentAdvise current and prospective student athletes on NCAA requirements for graduation, athleticeligibility, and Cal Poly policies•Recommend tutoring, study table, workshops, and other academic resources for students havingacademic difficulty•Communicate effectively and regularly with coaches and compliance office about student athletes academics, APR, and other departmental needs •Meet with prospective student athletes and their families to disseminate information regarding Cal Poly and to insure that they are aware of the various campus resources available to students•Participate on campus committees to improve advising and communication campus wide•Develop and implement workshops related to career exploration, resume development, studentsuccess, and registration•Lecturer for University 125- a introduction to college course for student athletes
