My name is Kyrsten Carlson and I am currently attending the University of West Florida (UWF).During my six years at UWF, I've achieved a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) and will be graduating with a Master of Business Administration with a focus in entrepreneurship in Fall 2024. Alongside my academic pursuits, I've taken on leadership roles as the president of the Argo Flight Club and the Student Veterans of America Association at UWF.Throughout my time at school, I've held multiple roles that have contributed to my professional growth and skill sets. I have held positions at the Military and Veterans Resource Center (MVRC) as a Transition Coach and at Magnolia Wealth Strategies (MWS) as a Client Experience Associate (CEA). I also worked as a project manager for a private LLC for approximately a year before starting my current position as a Data Entry Clerk for EMP Billing located here in Pensacola.These experiences have not only equipped me with a diverse range of skills but have also provided me with invaluable life lessons and a deeper understanding of my capabilities. My journey has strengthened my dedication to serving others, particularly those who have dedicated themselves to protecting and serving our country. I have a passion for taking on challenges that push my boundaries and allow for creative problem-solving outside of traditional norms.Beyond academics and work, I enjoy being in nature with my dog, reading books, playing video games, listening to music and podcasts, and spending time with friends and family. I am also actively engaged in the community, especially when it involves supporting the local military community. I served as the drummer in the 2021 & 2022 Pensacola Dragon Boat Races on the Military and Veterans Resource Center's boat.
