Role and ResponsibilitiesAs an intern in the PDK (Process Design Kit) team within the Design Technology Department at Samsung Electronics, I am immersed in the intricacies of semiconductor design and fabrication processes. My primary responsibility is to implement and optimize automation programs aimed at improving operational efficiency across the department.Key ContributionsA significant part of my role involves analyzing and interpreting the data generated from these automation programs. By deriving valuable insights from these analyses, I contribute to the continuous improvement of productivity and process optimization within the team.Personal Projects and LearningIn addition to my core responsibilities, I am actively engaged in a personal project focused on Monte Carlo simulations and their real-world applications. This project allows me to deepen my understanding of advanced statistical methods and apply them in a practical context, further enriching my experience in semiconductor technologies.

I worked in the Emergency Preparedness control room, where we constantly monitored external threats of missiles and other foreign air objects. I monitored air movements, created detailed daily reports for sergeants, and worked to set emergency strategies in response to or anticipation of movements from North Korea and China.

I issued licenses for players and other staff at competitions and ensured registration accuracy. I provided onsite support to field personnel and ensure smooth logistics for everyone involved, including audience members. I worked with the Korean team to prepare cultural promotions through KPOP opening performances.
