As the lead clinician, I conducted appropriate assessments (including FBAs) to develop and update Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP) that emphasize ABA strategies and positive behavior supports. I consulted and collaborated with client families and multi-disciplinary team members, trained them to accurately implement intervention techniques, and monitored treatment integrity. In addition, I determined the efficacy of the BIP through data collection and analysis and provided feedback to the team.

As a BHRS Case Manager, I served as a liaison between clinical staff, insurance companies, administrative staff, other agencies and clients/families to ensure our clients received their recommended level of quality care. I assisted my team of BHRS clinical staff with the necessary paperwork to obtain authorization for services for their clients and stay in compliance with all deadlines. I was also the primary contact for all incoming BHRS clients and worked with their families, the insurance company, schools/daycares and BHRS evaluators to initiate the most appropriate level of care. In this role, I had the opportunity to observe clients during their initial psychological evaluations and gained experience conducting initial ISPT meetings.

As a TSS I worked with a treatment team to help implement and model interventions and skills outlined in the behavioral treatment plans for children with various mental health diagnoses in their school, home and community. I specifically worked with clients who were diagnosed on the Autism Spectrum and served as an advocate for them and their families in their school and community. I helped to teach clients how to cope with their negative feelings in positive ways, engage in appropriate social interactions with others, improve their listening skills and stay on task. I modeled behavioral interventions for their families and teachers in order to give them the skills to help the child be successful in all environments without TSS support.

Mccaskey High School

I worked as a lead teacher in a daycare classroom within a high school in Lancaster City. Many of the children in my classroom were the children of teenage parents.I was responsible for creating a safe and developmentally appropriate classroom for children ages 1 and 2. I also created and implemented lesson plans and was responsible for managing and supervising the classroom staff. I served as mentor for the teenage parents and educated them on different parenting skills and styles as well as their child's overall development through evaluations and conferences.
