L. ALEXANDER MCCALL BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCHL. Alexander McCall serves as Executive Vice President and Principal of Larson & McGowin, LLC and serves as President of Larson & McGowin Properties. Born in Montgomery, Alabama, McCall earned a Bachelor of Science in Forest Operations from Auburn University and joined Larson & McGowin, Inc., in 1993.His continuing education includes coursework at Auburn, the University of Georgia, the Association of Rural Farm Managers and Appraisers and the Appraisal Institute. This course work includes sample design and procedure, intensive forest management, timberland appraisal theory, and rural property valuation. He specializes in timber estimate sample design , timberland appraisal and harvest planning to meet a multitude of landowner and stakeholder objectives. He also has extensive experience in timberland acquisition due diligence and negotiation.McCall is active in a number of professional organizations including the Association of Consulting Foresters and is a practicing affiliate with Appraisal Institute. He is a is registered Forester in both Alabama (License No. 1593) and Georgia (License No. 2695) and as a Certified General Real Property Appraiser in Alabama (G01281) and Florida(RZ3936). Additionally, he has served as an expert witness on numerous occasions regarding the negotiation of leases and other real property issues.
