Over the course of nearly four years at FIMA’s Headquarters in Obersontheim, Germany, I managed and sold international projects for a variety of custom centrifugal compressor and blower products built to rigid API standards and stringent customer specifications, including integrated oil, seal gas and control systems. I strived to meet challenging customer deadlines to deliver on time for plant start-up or planned shutdowns.After two years in project management, I joined the sales team, using the product knowledge and project experience I accumulated to better sell our compressors to the international market. After seeing several projects from start to finish as the single point of contact between our engineering and fabrication teams to customers, I know what it takes to convert successful bids into successful projects. I endeavored to turn over well clarified and defined projects ensuring the customer's needs are met and our products are delivered on time.I was proud to represent FIMA from engineering and technical clarifications, procurement, through to manufacture, factory acceptance testing with customers and third-party inspectors, and ultimately packaging, delivery and completion of documentation. FIMA works primarily with equipment for explosion-proof zones, and transportation of explosive gas.
